Take your Georgia Road Test at Advance Driving Academy

We can test everyday rain or shine.

On-Site Road Testing – Winder Location

The Georgia Road Test will be conducted in our vehicle, with our insurance and fuel. Our examiners are licensed by the Georgia DDS to administer the test on our course.

If you fail, don't worry; the Georgia Department of Driver Services allows one more try with us, and we do not charge for the second test.

Qualifications & Requirements

Must have taken the 30 hours driver’s education course, and the driving lessons, with Advance Driving Academy in order to take the road test with us.

Students Under 18

• Must have taken the 30 hours driver’s education course, and the driving lessons, with Advance Driving Academy, or...

• Must have a valid Georgia Driver’s permit for at least 1 year and 1 day

• A parent or guardian must bring you for your road test if you are under the age of 18.

• You must have a learners permit on you, your 30 hour and the six hour certificate if under 18

• The DDS will also require you to have the ADAP certificate, and Certificate of Attendance from your school to get your license along with your certificate of passing the road test.

• Fee - $70 for test only or $125 for 1 hour refresher course and test

Students 18 and Over

• Must have completed at least 6 hours of driving lessons at Advance Driving Academy

• Must have a valid Georgia Driver’s permit

• Fee - $70 for test only or $125 for 1 hour refresher course and test

Road Test must be scheduled AT LEAST 1 week in advance. Once a date is scheduled, it may not be changed. We have to turn in a report to the state on Fridays by noon for the following week.

* Any cancellation after 1:00 pm on Friday prior to the road test will result in a $25 cancellation fee.
